Behind The Artist: Cryptik Interview

When I first saw Cryptik’s work, his perfectly clean strokes – a blend of calligraphy and sanskrit absolutely blew my mind. It’s as if he has created his own harmonious language that usually ends up in some sort of mandala type design. We have been collaborating with artists in our apparel since the beginning, and this year we are honored to add a Cryptik mandala to some of our technical apparel.

A portion of every 686 x Cryptik design goes toward our continued efforts with the Compton Surf Club, where we instill motivation in our local at risk youth through continued mentorship and exposure to art, snowboarding, surfing, skiing and skateboarding.
