FAQ

When will my order ship?

During the winter we keep all the powder hounds locked up so we can get your gear to you as quick as possible. We try our best to ship all orders received by 11am PST on the same day that they are received. Orders received after 11am PST will ship on the following day. Some orders may take an extra 1-2 days to ship due to abnormal volume, but this is the exception and not the norm.

CLIMATE NEUTRAL

What does Climate Neutral Certified stand for?

  1. Reversing climate change is an all-hands challenge. A small fraction of companies know what their carbon footprints look like. Even fewer are actually investing to eliminate them. Climate Neutral focuses solely on climate impact. The Climate Neutral Certified label says "we're a brand that is taking immediate and rigorous climate action." Brands with the label measure and offset all of the emissions it takes to run their business, produce products or services, and deliver them to customers. All certified brands are also working to reduce their carbon footprint.

What parts of the business are certified?

  1. Our entire "cradle to customer" brand-level operations are covered. The only thing not included is emissions from use and disposal of our products. Categories evaluated are below:

  2. Direct emissions from our controlled facilities – Propane and Gas usage

  3. Indirect emissions – Electricity

  4. Purchased goods - Emissions from the raw materials and services that you purchase.

  5. Capital Goods – Emissions from computers and other capital expenditures that we invest into.

  6. Direct emissions from our factories based on the fuel used most in the manufacturing of our goods.

  7. Upstream Shipping – Emission from shipping from factory our warehouses

  8. Employee travel and Athlete Travel for 686 spefic shoots

  9. Employee commuting

  10. Downstream Shipping – Emissions for all freight to our customers - all retail partners as well as each ecommerce shipment.

Where can I learn more about our company’s certification?

  1. Every brand is certified based on the Climate Neutral Standards - you can read about all of the gory detail there. You can view our certified profile page here.

Are carbon credits / carbon offsets real?

  1. If selected carefully, carbon credits do indeed provide real climate benefits by increasing removal of carbon from the atmosphere and speeding the transition to zero carbon energy sources. We have partnered with 3Degrees to purchase our credits/offsets. Through 3Degrees, the leading North American carbon specialist, we are sourcing carbon offsets from third-party verified forest and renewable projects to address our 2020 carbon footprint.
