The GORE-TEX membrane is created as a series of pores. Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a water drop, yet large enough for vapor to pass through. This creates the ultimate membrane for keeping the inside of your garment dry while still allowing moisture and perspiration to pass through, effectively regulating your body temperature while keeping you comfortable inside your jacket or pants. GORE-TEX guarantees you will stay dry and warm in any condition, for the life of your garment. All GORE-TEX fabrics are bluesign® approved, meeting the highest environmental standards.
The ultimate natural insulation; down provides maximum warmth with minimum weight making it the most packable option for insulation. The structure of down creates loft and the measurement of this is called fill power rating. The higher the fill power, the less actual down insulation will be needed to maintain the temperature rating. Our 100% Responsibly Sourced Down ranges from 550 to 700 fill power. We ensure, through third party certifications, that all our 100% Responsible Down originates from humanely treated geese and not from animals who have been subjected to excessive harm.
This creates a packable system to keep gear in order when not in use. It’s simple: the jacket is folded, rolled, and then the hood bungy tightens around the bundle to keep it that way. Great jacket! I have now been on the mountain and used this with and with out the liner. I am enjoying the length as the jacket being in deep powder meant I didn't have any issues with snow coming inside. I love the color selection. The coat has been a whole new ball game for me.
