For those who prefer pants to bibs, we removed the top from our famous Dispatch Bib and kept the rest true to the original design. Designed by guides in Japan with cross-venting leg vents to keep you chill on the skin track or when things heat up, and tested and developed durable at 11,053’ by the world-renowned Mammoth Unbound Park Staff to last during their 200+ day seasons. Thigh cargo pockets and a key hook inside your hand pocket, these pants still provide plenty of storage.

The GORE-TEX membrane is created as a series of pores. Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a water drop, yet large enough for vapor to pass through. This creates the ultimate membrane for keeping the inside of your garment dry while still allowing moisture and perspiration to pass through, effectively regulating your body temperature while keeping you comfortable inside your jacket or pants. Taped Seams

The seams where pieces of fabric are brought together are the most likely spot for moisture to intrude into a garment. The seam taping process prevents this by making the seams as waterproof as their surrounding fabric. Seams in 686 garments can be fully taped throughout the garment or taped only at critical areas to further ensure quality workmanship and guarantee waterproofing.

Recycled Poly

Recycled Poly fabric, at its core, is a recycled polyester fabric. Each yard of fabric is generated from 7 plastic bottles. It just so happens to excel where movement or comfort are concerned. It’s a moisture wicking fabric that dries fast, keeps water and stains at bay with a DWR finish, and holds off the suns attack with a UPF of 40+. Our Recycled Poly fabric is comfort.

PFAS Free DWR

C0 PFAS Free DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating is the outermost finish applied to exclusive 686 fabrics increasing their contact angle and thus repelling water while maintaining high breathability. DWR also helps repel stains and oils that can damage your garment's surface.

500 Denier Nylon

Strategically placed throughout a garment, 500D Nylon gives you rugged durability where you need it most while allowing the rest of the pant or jacket to benefit from the advanced mobility that 686 has infused it with. Belt loops, pocketing, cuffs, and other tear zones will now stand the test of labor and time.

WAIST Lay the garment so that the top edge of the waist is as straight as possible and measure one end to the other.	INSEAM Fold the garment in half and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg opening.	HIP First measure 8" down from the top of the waist, then measure straight across the leg.
THIGH Eyeball the middle of the leg between the crotch and the knee and measure straight across.	LEG OPENING Measure straight across the bottom of one pant leg.

WAIST Measure full circumference around the narrowest point of the waist, just above the navel. Make sure the tape is straight and taut in back as well.	HIP Measure full circumference around the widest part of the hips.
INSEAM Measure from the crotch to the bottom of the leg.	THIGH Measure full circumference around the widest part of the thigh.
